I went back to Lafreniere Park again today with a specific goal of capturing some feathered friends either in flight or some type of motion.  What’s interesting is that, although I love going to Couturie Forest in City Park, and the variety of bird species are virtually the same, in Lafreniere Park they seem much more lively therefore giving me more opportunities for today’s goal.

Of course, the park offers much more than just avian creatures so enjoy the extra critters in today’s set.

This morning I went out to the Bird Sanctuary at Lafreniere Park for a change of pace as I was hoping to a) find more early morning activity and b) find more birds in flight.  Unfortunately, my goals were busted on both fronts.  I really thought getting there before it heated up would bring out more birds, although, I generally don’t have a problem finding them there.  It is a bird sanctuary, afterall (duh).
